It is well-known,that a tree will die after peeling off the whole circle of bark.The notable exception is the oak tree. Its bark can be peeled about every ten years- and still the tree will grow new bark again for hundreds of years.

Every layer of the oak bark is permeated with sunshine,rain,wind,and even frost... The memory of time is immersed in each inch and each layer of the bark.

We usually name oak bark CORK,it is one of nature's most amazing raw materials.Cork is incredibly light,100% biodegradable,recyclable,impermeable to liquids and gases,elastic,compressible,and resilient. In addition,it is fire retardant and highly abrasion-resistant.

Having just one of these features would already be great.But to have them all in a  single,undivided material is truly unique.No human-made product has yet been able to replicate its unique combination of properties.
